Wedgwood Foundation

The Wedgwood Foundation was established in 1990 as an auxiliary organization to benefit Wedgwood Christian Services in its ministry to hurting kids and families.  Its income comes from estate bequests, memorial gifts, investment earnings, in addition to other planned giving investments, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and life insurance policies.

The Foundation annually pays a portion of its earnings to Wedgwood Christian Services. Nearly $1,300,000 has been distributed for use by Wedgwood since inception of the Foundation. In an effort to recognize those who have or will be remembering Wedgwood through planned giving, a Foundation Legacy Society was established in 2006. Comprised of almost 100 members, it holds an annual reception to honor these special members.

Legacy Society

The Foundation holds an annual reception to honor and thank those individuals who have informed us that Wedgwood is included in their estate plan as a beneficiary. Members also include those who have arranged a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, life insurance policy, or other planned gift to benefit Wedgwood. See the Legacy Society brochure.

The fifth annual Legacy Society Reception will be held at the new Bouma Counseling Center on Wedgwood's Campus on Thursday, May 13 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
