A training for Health Care and Social Work professionals in the state of Michigan that fulfills the new trafficking training requirements, lead by Wedgwood’s Manasseh Project Coordinator, Nikeidra Battle-DeBarge & Manasseh Project Trauma Recovery Center Clinician, Ashley Anderson
In this training, professionals will: 

  • Understand how ‘trafficking’ is legally defined
  • Understand the continuum of victimization in the life of a exploited person
  • Gain skills and language to advocate effectively for victims
  • Broaden knowledge of the root causes of trafficking
  • Learn the arenas of exploitation
  • Build skills to identify and intervene in the life of a victim
  • Understand the worldview/trauma of a victim
