Are you looking for a FREE resource about parenting skills? Look no further! Wedgwood Christian Services is offering this FREE parenting workshop series throughout the year. This series aims at helping parents improve interactions with their children by understanding behaviors better.

Trauma Informed Parenting Classes (TIP)
A psychoeducational parenting class offered to parents/caregivers who have children who have experienced trauma and are part of their healing process. T.I.P. is a 6-week course that covers the topics of:
- Trauma 101
- Understanding the effects of trauma
- Understanding feelings and behaviors
- Building a safe place
- Connections and Healing
- Being an advocate
This course is offered 6 times throughout the year here at Wedgwood Christian Services. This is a great time to build safety and support with other parents/caregivers who are struggling with similar concerns.

PMTO offers a uniquely effective treatment where parents can work one-on-one with a clinician. Through this process, parents are able to further develop their parenting skills to help them manage a variety of behaviors in their children. These behaviors often include school performance issues, noncompliance, aggression and fighting, delinquency and conduct problems. This program includes weekly sessions with a PMTO-certified therapist.
