This co-ed treatment program is available for adolescents ages 12-17 who abuse substances and may have a co-occurring mental health diagnosis. The program uses a12-step facilitation, solution-focused and motivational skill-building model of addiction treatment.
Daily group therapy is provided along with supportive individual and family therapy. There is a heavy emphasis on peer accountability. Involvement with Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous is offered. Criteria work is based on a Stages of Change model. Life skills development, leisure skill development, and voluntary spiritual development is offered. Employment training is provided depending on length of stay. There are random drug screens completed and the alcohol breathalyzer test is available.
