Short-term intensive treatment is provided to boys and girls ages 6 to 17 in a group home in the community. Group therapy along with individual and family therapy are used to meet the mental health needs of the adolescents. There are frequent activities in the community where youth practice their social skills and emotional regulation skills.
Parents or guardians commit to active involvement in treatment by attending scheduled meetings and therapy sessions. The average length of stay is 90 days. The referring worker collaborates with the program therapist for continuity of treatment and smooth transitioning back to the family home.
