Intensive Outpatient Counseling

Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Program. An adolescent-friendly program that uses an intensive group therapy model to help support youth as they transition through the various stages of change from substance use to sobriety. Therapy sessions address the lack of education about substances, cues and triggers for relapse, post acute withdrawal, the disease concept of addiction, values clarification, and many other areas affecting the adolescent journey to recovery.

The program is limited to 12 individuals in the group, and meets three times weekly for 3-5 hours. Youth attend a minimum of 18 sessions over a six-week period.

Ages: 12-18
