Youth often experiment with substances as they reach adolescence. For some, it remains experimentation only. For others, substances begin taking over their life and the effects begin to impact their academic functioning, their interest in healthy activities, and their relationships. Wedgwood has a Specialized Residential Treatment program for adolescents with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health diagnoses to address not only the substance use, but the driving factors underlying the substance use.
This program serves male and female clients, ages 10-17, who have a substance use disorder and may have a co-occurring mental health diagnosis.
