Current events have increased worry, stress, and fear for many and been difficult for those struggling with depression and anxiety. The CDC states that “Coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger.” For a stronger, healthier community, making Mental Health and Counseling services accessible, while still practicing social distancing, is crucial.
Wedgwood Christian Services is continuing to provide distinctively Christian, professionally excellent services to current clients, including Outpatient and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy services, through tele-health options, and is accepting new clients.
“At this critical time, we know many people in our community have increased needs for mental health care,” said Dr. Elizabeth Raese, Associate Director of Wedgwood’s Community Services. “Wedgwood currently has openings for outpatient counseling tele-health sessions to help meet these needs. Our compassionate, skilled therapists are available to provide support and guidance during this stressful time.”
Wedgwood offers counseling for adults, teens, children, and families. The therapists at Wedgwood have the skills, experience, and compassion to help people create meaningful and lasting change.
