Our Solution
- Renovate the Bouma Counseling Center to create several additional counseling spaces to meet the increased demand for life-changing services available to children, teens, and families.
- Renovate all residential home kitchens, which would elevate menu planning, food preparation and food service, and would allow direct care staff to spend more quality, treatment-centered time with clients.
- Create a state-of-the-art Occupational Therapy (OT) space adjoining the Velting Activity Center/Gymnasium that flows into the green space outside and will enable OT staff to provide more comprehensive services.
- Update aging facilities to ensure spaces that encourage kids to heal, learn, and grow.
- Upgrade agency electronic infrastructure which will increase staff efficiency by streamlining their work process and allow them to focus on providing professionally excellent and distinctively Christian services.
- Eliminate the remaining balance of a pension obligation which would result in additional funding that could be designated to staff retention and recruitment.
