Wedgwood Announces Board Appointments

Wedgwood Christian Services Executive Board of Directors

Wedgwood Christian Services has appointed Dr. Lisa M. Lowery, MD, MPH, CPD, FAAP, FSAHM to its Executive Board of Directors. Dr. Lowery currently serves as the Section Chief of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, the Assistant Dean for Diversity and Cultural Initiatives for Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, and an Associate Professor for MSU’s College of Human Medicine Department of Pediatrics and Human Development.

“Dr. Lowery’s insight and leadership will be invaluable to Wedgwood Christian Services,” said Dan Gowdy, Wedgwood’s President/CEO. “Her expertise aligns well with the work that Wedgwood does, and we are thrilled to bring her on board.”

Wedgwood’s Executive Board of Directors also named new officers:

Wedgwood Foundation Board of Directors

The Board of Directors for the Wedgwood Foundation has named new officers:

• Sharon Dykhouse (Morgan Stanley) – Board Chair
• Michael Zahrt (Foster Swift) – Vice Chair
• Bill Bruinsma (TCF) – Secretary

Wedgwood’s NextGen Board

Wedgwood welcomed Aleka Thrash (Cornerstone University/ACTPhotoMedia), David Bruinsma (DG Medical Developers), Karen Mulki (OMT-Veyhl), and Krista Avink (Seven & Mane) as the newest members of the NextGen Board.

Members appointed to serve as Executive Board Liaisons include:
