What can my gift do?
- $300 can cover a year of employment & training for a teen learning crucial job skills in our training program.
- $120 can provide 12 months of hope, healing, and wholeness through (optional) Chaplaincy Services.
- $50 can provide 12 therapeutic activities for one child in Wedgwood’s Residential Care.
- $20 can provide a local teen the opportunity to participate in positive development, & prevention programming.

The holiday season is a magical time for many of us, filled with love, joy, friends and family. It is the season to celebrate the incredible gift God gave the world — His son Jesus, as a baby, in the manager, to give us hope.
The kids in our Residential Care don’t often have the same sense of wonder and joy tied to this time of year. It, instead, serves as a reminder that people who were supposed to love and protect them, hurt them and let them down.
Wedgwood Christian Services is safe haven for children who have endured unimaginable things. They have been neglected and abused. They have been removed from their home and experienced, on average, 12 failed placements before arriving in our care. These precious children of God feel unloved and not worthy of a family. Every day they show incredible strength and resilience, but they can’t muscle their way through this on their own. They need our extravagant love, unwavering care, and all-embracing therapeutic approach to help them heal and move toward a better life.
Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to provide a safe, nurturing, and restorative space that is just right for each child. Every day they offer counseling, education, and life-skills to heal and empower each child in our care. We have celebrated young teens as they overcome addiction, make academic progress (check out Jasmyn’s Journey), have therapeutic breakthroughs, renewed hope, and most importantly learn that Jesus loves them.
But we cannot do this alone. The need is great and the challenges these children face are ongoing. This holiday season we are asking you for support because we know that together we can do more in the year ahead. Whether through a one-time donation or a monthly commitment, you will directly impact the lives of each child in our care and many others in need of a safe place to heal.
