Trauma Informed Parenting

A psychoeducational parenting class is offered to parents/caregivers who have children who have experienced trauma and are part of their healing process. T.I.P. is a 6-week course that covers the topics of:

• Trauma 101
• Understanding the effects of trauma
• Understanding feelings and behaviors
• Building a safe place
• Connections and Healing
• Being an advocate

This course is offered 6 times throughout the year here at Wedgwood Christian Services. This is a great time to build safety and support with other parents/caregivers struggling with similar concerns.

Classes are on Wednesdays via Zoom, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Please note that childcare is not provided.

• January 15 – February 19
• February 26 – April 2
• April 16 – May 21
• August 6 – September 10
• September 24 – October 29
• *November 11 – December 16 (*held on Tuesdays)
